Jeremy ParkinDirector and Senior Surveyor
I am the Director of Bradstowe Limited, of which Henderson Setterfield is the trading style of the Property Management Division, specialising in Residential Lettings, Estate Management and Sales. The other trading style is Bradstowe Chartered Surveyors, which undertakes Surveys, Valuations and all other property professional work.
Having over 35 years’ experience in the property sector, I concentrate primarily on the surveying division of the business but am in regular attendance to advise and support the Property Management Division.
We have a well established dedicated property management team that operates Henderson Setterfield in an efficient, smooth and professional manner.
Steve WrightDirector of Accounts
I have worked in the property industry since 1985 and started out in the sales department an over the years have expanded my experience and knowledge. I started at Henderson Setterfield in 2002 and have been dealing with all sides of the accounts for 18 years!
In my spare time I play flugelhorn with Simon Langdon brass, pre covid. I enjoy painting and good cups of coffee at the weekend.
Lauren BurtonIT Manager
I have worked in the property industry for 10 years, I have got experience in sales, lettings and block property management.
I used to be the lettings manager at the Broadstairs branch but I have a new part time role as I have just become a first time mum.
Now I deal with all IT and marketing for the Henderson Setterfield.
Outside of work I’m kept very busy by an active toddler but when I do get a minute I like nothing more than a G&T in the sunshine.
Maggie EdgarSenior Block Management Consultant
I joined the Broadstairs branch in 2003 to concentrate on developing the professional block management service. Over the course of my working life I have gained experience in facilities management, financial accounting, litigation and contract law, customer service and team management.
This varied background provides me with the diversity of skills necessary to understand the needs of Clients whilst maintaining standards within a highly regulated environment. I am proud of the high level of service we provide to our Clients and although I have now taken early retirement I am delighted to continue working with Henderson Setterfield on a consultancy basis.
In my spare time I love to discover new walking trails, meet with friends or spend hours in my garden.
Susan BrownBlock Property Accounts Manager
I have over 25 years of experience in business and accounting. I joined Henderson Setterfield in 2017, with a view to specialising in Estate Accounts Management. I also work with the other Estate Managers in the office. My role is to provide the financial information for the properties and complete the year end accounts. I will offer updated advice, to the Directors and accountants, provided by ARMA legislation. I suggest improvements in the presentation of the reports, to provide transparency for Owners, Tenants or Leaseholders.
I work alongside Steve Wright, the Director of Accounts. Additional accounting duties include, Bank Reconciliation, balancing Office & Client Nominal Accounts, Petty Cash, Salaries, HMRC Tax payments, VAT, Companies House submissions, using Quick Books Online Accounting, Excel, other software programs and producing financial or management reports.
When I am not working, you will find me either on the golf course or in the kitchen making my specialist cakes.
Sara BenfellBlock Property Manager
I joined the company in 2008 as assistant to the Estate Manager and I have subsequently become a block manager looking after over 20 blocks of flats. Some are brand new, and some Grade II listed so there’s lots of variety.
Our little team of block managers works really well together and although we’re very busy, we usually find time for a brisk walk down to Broadstairs seafront at lunchtime! Out of the office I sing badly in a choir (or did before Covid-19) and also play viola in the Bradstowe Symphony Orchestra.
Julie CraigBlock Property Manager
I have worked on the Block Management Team in the Broadstairs office for 5 years. My background is from the new build and development sector over the past 17 years and having this experience has been invaluable in the support and service levels of Henderson Setterfield’s block management offering. I have a deep knowledge of the construction and customer care provision required in the sector and having a confident and professional attitude my relationships with residents and contractors alike ensures a seamless managing offering.
I enjoy baking and socialising with my husband and two children.

I started my property management career in 2016 when I returned to Thanet from Hampshire. I started with Henserson Setterfield in 2019 in block management, I have learnt a lot in this time and look forward to continuously extending and updating my knowledge to offer the best service possible to our clients.
In am a member of a spiritual circle and have my Reiki Healing level 1 and 2.
Karen AireyLettings Account Manager
I moved to the UK from Zimbabwe at the beginning of 2006 with my husband and two children. I have been working in our Birchington Branch since I arrived in the UK. During my time with the company, I have gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in the letting industry and property management. I mainly focus on letting accounts, ensuring that rent is collected and paid to landlords.
During my spare time I enjoy keeping fit and spending time with my family.
Michelle CliffeLettings Negotiator
Michelle's role of Lettings Negotiator is a varied one but the main parts of her job include carrying out property inspections, check ins and check outs, arranging and carrying out viewings aswell as making sure maintenance issues get reported to our landlords.
She has lived locally all her life so know the area well.
When Michelle is not working, you will probably find her enjoying some sunshine on one of our beaches or cycling round the local countryside.
She love spending time with her family and friends and enjoy socialising. Her hobbies also include swimming, yoga, cooking, watching horror movies and travelling.
Mandy DockertyLettings & Maintenance Negotiator
I joined the company in 2016 as maintenance administrator and have gained alot of experience and knowledge of the lettings department, my daily tasks I mainly deal with any repairs or maintenance on our fully managed properties or getting properties ready for tenants to move in or out of!
In my spare time I like travelling and spending time with friends and family.
Zach TugwellTrainee Surveyor
I have recently joined the company in the position of a trainee surveyor with the view of becoming a fully chartered building surveyor in the coming years. I will also be assisting with the block management aspect of the company. I am looking forward to helping out with many aspects of the company and to further my training in the surveying industry

I have worked for Bradstowe Chartered Surveyors for 15 years, but have worked within the property sector my entire working life.
I am an avid reader. I love spending time with friends and family, and more recently I am enjoying more outdoor activities.
